What types of events can I host at Danada House?
Danada House is perfect for a wide variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, family reunions, and showers. With its scenic indoor and outdoor spaces, it’s a versatile venue for both formal and casual gatherings.
Is Danada House available year-round?
Yes, Danada House is available for events year-round. However, please note that Danada House will be closed for renovations throughout 2024 and is expected to reopen in late spring of 2025.
How far in advance can I book my event?
You can reserve your event date up to 24 months in advance.
What accessibility updates have been made during this renovation?
There is improved access into Danada House and throughout the first floor, as well an elevator to the 2nd floor.
How do I reserve a date for my event?

What is the required deposit?
The refundable security deposit ranges from $500 to $4,500, depending on the day and type of event.
When is the final payment due?
Outstanding fees and charges must be paid in full at least 15 days prior to your event date.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel and your date is rebooked, a $500 processing fee will be retained. If the date is not rebooked, the full security deposit will be retained.

Can I host both my wedding ceremony and reception at Danada House?
Absolutely! Danada House offers beautiful outdoor gardens for ceremonies and a spacious Atrium for receptions. You’ll have exclusive access to the entire venue for your special day.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
The Atrium can accommodate up to 250 guests. For smaller gatherings, the main level of Danada House can host up to 90 guests.
Are there backup options for outdoor ceremonies in case of bad weather?
Yes, the indoor spaces at Danada House, including the Atrium, can serve as a backup location in case of inclement weather.
How early can we arrive on the day of the event?
You will have access to the venue at the start of your contracted rental period. Additional pre-event hours can be arranged for $150 per hour.
Do you require us to use approved caterers?
We highly recommend using our experienced caterers from our approved list. However, We actually do allow outside caters to come in, but they must pay the caterers fee, meet license and insurance requirements, and adhere to policies regarding clean up.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes, but alcohol service must comply with local laws, and all bartenders must be licensed and insured. We highly recommend working with your caterer for beverage services.
Do you provide a list of preferred vendors?
Yes, Danada House partners with a list of trusted vendors, including photographers, florists, and caterers. These vendors are familiar with the venue and its layout.

"We had our wedding at Danada House on July 29, 2023 and it was amazing! The grounds are gorgeous in the summer with all the greenery and flowers. The house itself was fun to share with loved ones and offered many spaces for personalization on the mantel and tables. Are there restrictions on decorations?
Decorations must not damage the venue. Rice, birdseed, petals, glitter, and confetti are prohibited. Candles must be enclosed in glass containers.
Can we rearrange the furniture or layout?
Yes, our team can help you customize the layout. Danada House provides tables, chairs, and other furnishings to suit your event needs.
When can we begin setting up for our event?
Setup can begin at the start of your contracted rental period. Additional setup hours can be added for $150/hour.
Are there specific spots for photos at Danada House?
Yes, Danada House offers numerous picturesque locations, including the gardens, Atrium, and historic architecture, perfect for wedding and event photography.
Can we bring in a DJ or live band?
Yes, you can bring in entertainment such as DJs or live bands. Be sure to discuss sound and power requirements with our staff in advance.
Are drones allowed for photography or videography?

Is parking available for guests?
Yes, there is ample parking for up to 150 vehicles on-site. We do not provide Valet parking but this can also be arranged through a licensed provider with the proper credentials and insurance.
Are there accommodations nearby for out-of-town guests?
Yes, several nearby hotels, including Marriott Naperville and Hyatt Place Warrenville, offer convenient accommodations for your guests.
What is the process for unloading and setting up items?
Caterers and vendors can unload near the entrance. Our staff will guide you to ensure smooth setup logistics.
What is your smoking policy?
Danada House is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Are pets allowed at the venue?
Pets are not permitted inside the venue, but service animals are allowed.
What happens if something is damaged during the event?
Any damage caused during the event will be deducted from the security deposit. Additional fees may apply if the cost exceeds the deposit.
