- Signage Restrictions: Posting placards or signs with advertisements or announcements is strictly prohibited, except for groups holding a valid Picnic or Special Event Permit. Permitted groups may display temporary signs for location identification, but signs must:
- Be removed at the end of the event
- Measure no larger than 24” x 30”
- Not be attached to trees, shrubs, posts, buildings, or any other structures
Event Policies
- On-Site Representative: A Danada House representative will be present throughout your event to ensure guest safety and protect the facility. This representative is authorized to restrict any activity that could be harmful to the venue, grounds, or guests, or that contradicts Danada House’s goals.
- Catering Requirements: All food and beverage service must be provided by a licensed and insured caterer from our approved list. Guests and caterers are responsible for the delivery, setup, and removal of all rental items, flowers, and food within the contracted time. Please note, Danada House is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- Setup, Takedown, and Cleanup:
- Responsibility: Guests and caterers are responsible for setting up, taking down, and cleaning all areas used.
- Additional Fees: Extended use of the facility may incur extra fees. If additional cleanup is required, charges will be deducted from the security deposit.
- Avoid Cleanup Charges: Consider using an approved cleaning company to ensure thorough cleanup and avoid security deposit deductions.
- Condition of the Facility: The facility must be left in the condition in which it was found. All items (decorations, equipment, etc.) brought in must be removed immediately after the event. The contract party is responsible for ensuring the facility is properly cleaned and cleared.
- Prohibited Items:
- Not Allowed: Rice, birdseed, petals, etc., inside the venue (due to cleanup difficulty).
- Additional Deposit Items: Balloons may require an additional security deposit.
- Banned Items: Open flames, sparklers, and any pyrotechnical devices are strictly prohibited.
- Smoke Machines: Use of smoke machines is not allowed inside the venue due to potential fire alarm activation and cleanup concerns.
- Restricted Areas: Access to the first floor and certain restricted areas of Danada House is prohibited, except for limited use of the upstairs washroom and bridal dressing rooms. Smoking, drinking, and food are not permitted in these upstairs areas.
- Parking:
- Designated Parking Only: Parking is restricted to designated areas, and parking on the lawns is strictly prohibited.
- Valet Parking Option: Valet parking is available and must be arranged through a licensed and insured service provider.
Reservations and Payment
- Reservation Timeline: Reservations can be made up to 24 months in advance.
- Contracts: Contracts must be signed by an adult who is at least 21 years old.
- Payment Due Dates: All outstanding fees must be paid 15 days before the event. Recognized organizations may pay up to 7 days prior. Companies may request invoicing.

Cancellation Policy
- If Rebooked: A $100 processing fee will be retained if the venue is rebooked.
- If Not Rebooked: The entire security deposit will be retained if the venue is not rebooked for the secured date.
