 Danada House boasts seven breathtaking ceremony locations, each offering a distinct and memorable setting to celebrate your special day. Whether you picture exchanging vows beneath the timeless arbor of the Formal Garden, amidst the springtime splendor of the Magnolia Garden, or under the shade of the towering oak trees in the Oak Garden, there’s a space to match your vision. The vibrant Rose Garden and the cozy Saddleup near the historic Rice Stables add to the charm, while the front of the mansion provides an iconic backdrop.

  • Formal Garden

    Nestled on the west side of the estate, the Formal Garden exudes elegance and charm, making it a timeless favorite for ceremonies. This garden offers two picturesque seating arrangements: under the romantic arbor, which creates a stunning focal point for vows, or facing the stately house, providing a majestic backdrop steeped in history. With a capacity to accommodate up to 250 guests, the Formal Garden is ideal for those envisioning a classic, open-air ceremony surrounded by manicured hedges and vibrant seasonal blooms.

  • Magnolia Garden

    Located on the southwest side of the estate, the Magnolia Garden is a serene haven with breathtaking views of the vibrant flower garden. This space truly shines in early spring, when the air is perfumed with the delicate fragrance of magnolia blossoms, and the trees are adorned with their iconic white and pink flowers. Nestled in the heart of DuPage County, Danada House is a premier event venue set within the picturesque surroundings of the Danada Forest Preserve. Our estate boasts a rich history, dating back to the mid-20th century, when it was the home of Daniel and Ada Rice, renowned for their contributions to the thoroughbred racing industry.

Daniel and Ada Rice were not only prominent figures in society but also generous philanthropists. Their foundation, still active today, provides assistance to needy children and families in the Chicago area. The estate is also famed for its equestrian heritage, having been the home farm to the 1965 Kentucky Derby winner Lucky Debonair, ridden by the legendary jockey Bill Shoemaker.
