Nestled on the west side of the estate,the Formal Garden exudes elegance and charm,making it a timeless favorite for ceremonies. This garden offers two picturesque seating arrangements:under the romantic arbor,which creates a stunning focal point for vows,or facing the stately house,providing a majestic backdrop steeped in history. Daniel and Ada Ricewere not only prominent figures in society but also generous philanthropists. Their foundation,still active today,provides assistance to needy children and families in the Chicago area.
